With an upcoming on-site school and the winning of another prestigious award, the year is getting off to a tremendous start for Riverstone, the 2,000-acre master-planned community just north of Fresno.

Riverstone’s future on-site school – Stone Creek Elementary – is planned to feature 21st century classrooms, a state-of-the-art Library/Media Center, a dedicated music room, outdoor learning spaces, an outdoor amphitheater and a dynamic sports complex.

Featuring outdoor gathering spaces with firepits, a resort-style pool and spa, a trainer-designed fitness center, demonstration kitchen and more, The Lodge is a fun, inviting hangout for Harvest at Riverstone residents.

For the second year in a row, Riverstone was named the winner of the CVLUX Community of the Year Award. The well-regarded accolade, which is determined by the voting public, honors only the best of the best in the Central Valley.

“We’re all very pleased to win this noteworthy award for a second time,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “But it simply wouldn’t be possible without the continual support of countless people. We’d like to thank our residents, our employees, our homebuilder partners and contractors, and the greater community for this honorable recognition. We feel so grateful to be able to serve the Valley and play a part in helping local families realize a remarkable quality of life.As I’ve said before, what’s most meaningful to us is to create the kind of community that people just can’t wait to come home to.”

Since a quality education is extremely important for today’s families, Riverstone chose to develop its community in the Golden Valley School District. The award-winning district is the best in Madera County, and ranks in the top two among Clovis, Fresno and Madera school districts.

All of the great qualities you find at Golden Valley will soon be a stone’s throw away from Harvest homes at Stone Creek Elementary, which just broke ground in January. Now under construction and anticipated to open in August of 2021, the innovative 15.5-acre campus is planned to feature tech-forward 21st century classrooms, a state-of-the-art library/media center, a dedicated music room, outdoor learning spaces, an outdoor amphitheater and a dynamic sports complex. It will be the first elementary school built under Golden Valley Unified School District banner, as the district broke away from Madera Unified School District in 1998.

Situated in the heart of the region’s path of growth, Riverstone, when complete, will total approximately 6,578 single-family, attached and multi-family homes. Coming soon is the one-million-square-foot Riverwalk mixed-use lifestyle retail destination. Amenities at Riverstone include walkable neighborhoods, parks and open space, a dog park, a sustainable water supply and The Lodge community clubhouse with resort-style swimming pools, a trainer-designed fitness center, demonstration kitchen, Gear Barn, outdoor gathering spaces with firepits, and ongoing monthly activities such as self-defense classes, book clubs, arts and crafts, specialty meal cooking classes and more. Future amenities will include hiking and biking trails and a community farm.
